    • Output to stream

      I use Strawberry on Linux Mint and would like to use strawberry to play the same music all over the house. It is very hard to run wires all over the house so the network would be great if possible.

      Foobar has a component to stream and VLC also does this.

      I prefer Strawberry because of it's ease of use and ability to manage my audio collection.

      I have no idea what sort of task this would be so I am just throwing it out there to see if it is possible or if there is another way to do this.

      They say the less you know about a problem the easier the solution seems to be 😉 That is me on this one for sure.

      Thanks, Gerry

      @rlkeeney

      My playlist is 137 days long, so if I hear a song every 137 days, I am good with that 😉

      I will enable loop to see if that helps.

      Thanks,
      Gerry

      I shuffle the playlist also and it still happens. It seems the next day it plays some of the same songs.

      Strange but no a showstopper, I like Strawberry otherwise.

    • Random playback

      Hello I am a new Strawberry user and overall it is working very well for me, but I have one problem and I suspect maybe I have a setting wrong somewhere.

      We just add all our music collection to a playlist and the remove the tracks we don't want in the rotation. The playlist is 135 days in length, so quite a big collection. The issue we are having is Strawberry plays some of the same tracks the next day and does not remove played tracks.

      I guess it could be truly random and still play the same track the next day if it does not remove the track played from rotation.

      Is there a setting I should be looking at, or is this expected behaviour.

      Thanks, Gerry
