I don't know if it's a related script branch but i imported my itunes metadata (playcount, lastplayed, .. first into clementine) and then used the https://musconv.com/itunes-to-clementine/ script which suited me fine!
I have ALL my data in strawberry ...

I was investigating the sqlite databases and tried eliminating the records for which the errors were given from the 'songs_fts' tabel .... however i see the songs_fts and songs_fts_content are populated also. What is their function? If there is a description somewhere on how the tables are relating to each other i could perhaps solve this problem without the need to reinstall everything.
I have about 20000 mp3/flac/... in the collection

When uploading new music, then <update changed folder collection> i get following errors ...
How to fix this?

Found this old issue to which i relate my findings. The collection folder is based on an
iTunes structure (/iTunes/Music/Artist/Album) and defined as /media/d/Data/iTunes/Music
I have found multiple times that adding a new artist under the Music Folder that it is not picked up by
the 'Update Changed Collection Folder' or even 'Full Collection Scan' ... if however I put the new 7
songs under an already existing artist it IS picked up.
Tried restarting after adding new songs or even putting media files directly under the Music folder,
nothing makes a difference

Adding a directory from the Playlist menu only adds it to the playlist (no ratings possible)

I wonder how anyone out there adds new songs?

Last night I added 2 albums to my local strawberry library. I added them through the interface 'Playlist -> Add Folder'

Strawberry plays the songs beautifully without a problem ... however I noticed that stats are not updated however number of time the songs have been played.
So playcount is not increased, last played remains 'never'.
It's also strange that NO rating stars are displayed to do the rating

Then i tried editing the ID3 tags (ctrl-E) for a song. I can edit it but after save, it's not registered in the database.
All other songs in the database don't have this behaviour.
I checked permissions on directory and files ... it's like any other directory.
The local setup hasn't changed at all, no updates of strawberry or any other package is done.

Anyone Any idea?
