The beeping appears to relate to the Notifications option. I believe the "Show a native desktop notification specifically".

As soon as I set it to Disabled, the bleeps stopped.

After some thought I've decided to switch to a different Windows player (MusicBee). I feel it will have better support (well it hasn't been updated in a while so we'll see) and has more of the features I want.

I used to be an Linux user and I'm happy that these user have a quality player (Strawberry) they can use. I wish you all the best.

You could use "mis", "und" or "zxx", depending on the case

@jonas Thanks for the work around. Just got around to Plasma 6 upgrade which turned into a complete Arch reinstall because my machine was tied in knots with dependencies etc. Everything looked great except those darn ampersands in my favorite music app of all time! ❤

Strawberry can handle a huge music library that doesn't include many great songs and gives people the freedom to choose the songs that suit them.

@tagomago I'd also like to see an option to import my "loved" tracks. With MusicBee on Windows (I'm on Linux now) I had a playlist of of "Loved" tracks, that I listened to all the time. Having this ability in Strawberry would be perfect.

Currently no, but we probably should in the future, but we need for options for changing lyrics while playing.

Hello! Compatibility with Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon for the Android MP3 player may vary. Check the device specifications and seek community advice. Ensure Strawberry supports file transfer to the player.

@jonas MusicBrainz Picard has an option to "Save AcoustID fingerprints to file tags". Will SMP read/use/benefit from those saved fingerprints, or will it generate its own fingerprint instead?

i agree, i have just switched to Strawberry from rhythmbox and it would be nice to see an option to search and add radio stations in the application.

I know very little about linux and code syntax by comparison to the others around here.
I started using Ubuntu 4 days ago and have reinstalled, twice, re-partitioned some drives to work with linux, and installed some software and done some updates.

But apart from the three url's im not really sure what the code above is doing and if that is what i need to put in a txt file to create a .pls for strawberry to add a radio channel or not
