This seem like a bug with your systems cmake files.

I'm not sure how that happened. I'm using unmodified src code.

@rlkeeney RL do you happen to know if one can search the lyrics field?
I've started to manually enter lyrics for lots of deep house tunes which typically only have a few lines, and often an unrelated track name, so being able to search for
"specific sentences of lyrics"
would be really useful. The default search bar searches multiple fields including Comment but not lyrics, it seems.

How do you exit strawberry? Or is it left on while restarting? Does it remember it if you exit using the file menu?

I've already tried that option but it didn't do the job about the EBU. By the way, I keep it unchecked because Strawberry becomes unresponsive for 1-2 seconds when it detects changes and begins to scan.
I'm also using the replay gain (often using the "Ex Falso" app to scan mp3s and write the replay gain tags), I just wanted to test the EBU R 128 feature out of curiosity.

@jonas Someone in the KDE bug discussion pointed out that this is a known issue involving QT with a relatively straightfoward fix (as far as I can tell, but I'm nowhere close to an expert). Here is a discussion of the issue and a description of the fix:

there is option enable delete from disk option in playlist also but selecting option only removes from the list but not from list disk in windows 10.

I prefer to oraganaze file like deleting or editing(info) while listening to music or quickly.

The player is nice, simple native style

Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 6) seems to do the trick. That version of Linux Mint actually has qt6ct in the software channel, although an older version, 0.7-3. I installed your newer version, 0.9-2, and it seems to work fine for the most part.

Interestingly, it would not allow me to set the font as Ubuntu Regular; instead insisting on Ubuntu Light Italic. It allowed me to use Noto Sans, which is close enough. But any insight on that font issue would be appreciated.
