      I have the same issue as mentioned above. The only lyrics that is showing are those from ChartLyrics. None of the others are working. It doesen´t matter if I untick and retick the boxes. And it doesent matter if I restart Strawberry.

      @jonas In that case, I'm looking forward to future updates 😃

      Otherwise, current implementation is pretty good. Changes I make to the tag update in Strawberry immediately 👍

      Though I noticed some inconsistencies in sorting by Original year.

      I will add that the scrollbar thumbs are next to invisible as well. I like that they hide when not in use, but its tedious to have to search for them when you need them. Clarification--keep hiding them when not in use, but, change their graphic to use system or higher contrast coloring when shown.

      @korafola

      Check the database to see if the songs are marked "unavailable", which means the file can't be read.

      https://wiki.strawberrymusicplayer.org/wiki/Accessing_the_database

      sqlite3 ~/.local/share/strawberry/strawberry/strawberry.db select url, unavailable from songs where unavailable = 1;

      if the songs appear there, then check if the songs are valid with an utility:
      https://wiki.strawberrymusicplayer.org/wiki/Validate_audio_files

      If there are no issues with files, then check the files with the tagreader utility witch comes with taglib.

      If the files are read with tagreader. A full collection rescan should solve it if the files are valid and can be read.
      Start strawberry from the a terminal window, do a full rescan and check for errors.

      If you are using taglib older than 1.12 you should upgrade taglib. Some distros still use TagLib 1.11.1 which is an 7 years old release, so file a bug report to your distro in that case.

      @MovingScenes
      This would work on Linux, on Windows, you might need to find an alternative to wget.
      Open the console, navigate to your music directory and launch a python http server with: python -m http.server 8123 (You need to have python installed, obviously)
      Warning: this is not secure, any one on your local network can access this server, so be sure to close it afterwards.
      When that is running, in a new Terminal window download the hosted page, but only the html files with: wget -r --accept "*.html" "http://localhost:8123/"
      This gives you your music folder structure as html files. You could copy the folder to your phone, laptop, or whatever and browse your collection, by opening the index.html in a webbrowser. Alternatively, you could host it on a webserver, if you have one.

      This is just what I spontaneously came up with, if I needed a solution in a pinch. But I am sure there are better ways.

      @wimpers
      You can filter playlists like this:

      rating:0 AND (bitrate:>320 OR bitdepth:>=16)

      Valid filters are: title, name, artist, album, albumartist, performer, composer, year, originalyear, track, disc, length, genre, samplerate, bitdepth, bitrate, filename, grouping, comment, rating.

      The play- & Skipcount would be quite useful to have as well. Maybe I could add them in a pull request at some point.

      I've also found out that dragging doesn't work at those players which are based on QT5.

      It's possible, I already started working on it a few years ago, there is a spotify branch in the git repository.

      @jonas said in How to load podcast mp3 file on my hard disk onto ipod.:

      @mimosa-tree
      Right click on the song in the collection tab and select "Copy to device".
      The directory with the songs need to be added to the collection for it to appear there.

      I tried to copy the AAC file to my iPod classic, the copy looks successful the songs can see in my iPod directory via Strawberry but there is nothing when I checked the songs in my iPod, So what I might be did wrong? please advise. Thank you.
