I ran Fiddler again, and this time got a thing called x-tidal-token that I figured must be the right thing. However, I entered it along with my uname and password, and it spits out failure to authenticate. I can only assume I'm doing something wrong... ?

@Dryst You can still obtain the 1.0.23 version from achive sites and use that. That was released for free and will let you test the software. Then you can decide if that version is good enough and stay there forever like I am on the windows boxes I have or you can decide to pay money for a music app. I backed up this version myself since it works well enough for my needs on the only windows boxes I use.

Is there any way to fix two database entries for the same track?

@mncroc LMS (Logitech Media Server / Squeezebox server / Lyrion....) keeps it nice & concise (albeit you have to access the information via the 'Settings' webpage):

Library Statistics
Total Tracks: 26,106
Total Albums: 2,399
Total Artists: 5,197
Total Genres: 93
Total Playlists: 0
Total Playing Time: 1987:20:05

It does also have a rather splendid plugin 'Visual Statistics' that tells you pretty much anything you might care to know about your collection.

But, hey, this is all about SMP - and I love it!

Open a terminal.
Execute

xdg-open .

to see if it opens Dolphin. If not, you might need to fix the association. Sometimes xdg-open might be pointing to the wrong application. If xdg-open is opening files with the wrong application, you can fix this by adjusting your MIME type associations or setting the correct default application for handling specific types of files.

EXAMPLES

For Directories (typically handled by file managers like Dolphin):

xdg-mime default dolphin.desktop inode/directory

or, i.e. For Text Files:

xdg-mime default kate.desktop text/plain

or, For PDF Files:

xdg-mime default okular.desktop application/pdf

the query mistekko sent is very useful to debug which default application is set for opening folders, which is the case. The first command I sent is useful to actually test if the problem lies in Strawberry or system-wide.
