The modification time of the files was being changed. However, the that of the directory under which they sat was not being updated. A "touch" of that directory, and then "Update Changed Collection Folders" works perfectly.

In settings / Backend. Try setting output to WASAPI instead.

I know this thread is old but i have this same issue. In my mind turning off the computer is closing the app while a song is playing so why when its in the startup and reopens it doesn't play .. its weird logic .. oddly enough i got it working in clementine but only in mint cinnamon , in xfce it did nothing. also weird tho is it will work when you log out and log back in which again in my mind is the same as turning the PC off and on .. i dunno , i would love to use this app but i need the music to start when i turn on my PC so its janky clementine or quad libet for me.

odd this issues doesn't come up more or hasn't been addressed ever.

@poilu You are obviously paying much closer attention to it than I am. Strawberry is almost always playing in the background, unless I am doing something like watching a video. When I'm deeply immersed in a project, I can lose track of time, and it won't register with me that it has stopped playing for a long time. So, I usually do not know when it stops.

It always stops on a track change and may be connected with the buffering issue, which I mentioned in another post. The continuous buffering also happens on a track change.

@Bubba_John We have something similar with the Replay Gain function, in mode Album (ideal loudness for all tracks).

I haven't tested building on Tahoe yet, but the error should be easy to fix by manually setting the library path.

Something like this:

export LIBRARY_PATH="/System/Library/Frameworks/AGL.framework"

Delete CMakeCache.txt and the run cmake command again.

if i use the playbackinfopostpaywall stream url method strawberry returns the fake url with the tidal track number ( example : "tidal:450198562" ). if i use urlpostpaywall or streamurl it returns the correct url but the quality of the files is only 44.1/16

I am a new user of Linux Ubuntu AND your great Stawberry application. I did the last update. I was a windows user, and used foobar in the past to manage my music, library and play.
If I can play dsf files, have it available in the library is still not possible (?). Is it somehow planed to add it ?
