I'd like to see this as well. It's a convenient feature already present in Clementine that'd be nice to port over so when you need to reinitialize your music library you don't lose all your stats.

@cherrystraw Exactly. In fact, radio stations that transmit data on the current stream get a search for a cover from online sources by Strawberry and often a cover will be shown. It is often not the correct one (different album or artist, depending on the tag data sent by the streamer), but a cover at least.

If I wanted to make my own compile I could replace the baked in cdcase.png with my own, but I do not want to get involved in that. I assume the developer group scouts this forum and will see the suggestion and hopefully find some value in it.

Strawberry had this previously, it wasn't working reliable on all Linux desktops so I removed it, I think it's a Qt bug.

That's means a complete redesign of the entire UI, makes more sense to create a new music player.

Never mind I solved the issue. needed to select all the files and rescan

an optimal implimentation would be Shift/meta/alt/ctrl + scroll to increase decrease size on the fly without going into the menu or the typical elektron method of ctrl+ + or ctrl+ - for increase or decrease

@jonas Hi Jonas, discussed the issue on #flatpak and a fix has been delivered today. flatpak now supports QGnomePlatform which fixes the issue.

Since my last monthly system update of Manjaro this weekend the player and playlist controls respond to touch (Strawberry still 0.9.3). I dont know which other updated package caused that, but it works to my satisfaction.
So this request is "solved".

@jonas Tonight I have installed Version 1.0.0-11-gb1f70982 and I am happy to report that despite having volume control disabled, for my 96kbps / L24E flac file, the analyzer is analyzing away! 🙂
