@echolessowl The GitHub is public, anyone can change the code and submit a Pull Request... then the main developer will decide to include it or not.

I am moving over to strawberry on linux over using dopamine on windows. On dopamine, I have about 300 smart playlists (I have about 18k songs in my collection too). The smart playlists being ordered alphabetically by default, instead of creation order (I assume that's what it uses?) would increase navigability.

It would be really nice if we could make playlist folders too (e.g. i have some playlists based around artists, some based around genres, and so on, and it would be nice to group them), but all of them listed alphabetically would be great!

@mike_jones Try using Rating < 0.5 instead of Rating = 0 stars. I have found that Rating = 0 stars does not work for me.

Just wanted to set the record straight, I can't really pinpoint it, but I would point at changing icon theme for fixing the startup times? Maybe this doesn't make any sense, but it's but it's been as fast if not faster than Clementine.

Ok, so I used a hex editor to change the api key and secret, still bails at around the same point . I suppose the page pulls are too agressive.

Playcounts and ratings only work for collection songs. The songs aren't linked to the collection for some reason indicated by the "folder" icon, the collection songs should have a vinyl icon. Maybe you dragged the songs from a file manager or the file tab before the folders were added to the collectiob? You need to re-add the songs from the left collection panel, then it should work.

OK, I understand that the replay gain data is not displayed in Strawberry, but I have another reason to believe that it is not being applied at all : I mainly listen to randomized playlists with a large number of tracks, and the output volume varies significantly from one track to the next. I often have to adjust the volume manually, which I don't need to do in foobar2000, for example. To me, it really sounds like there is no replay gain at all. I also hear no difference when I set it on and off in the settings.
