Good news: today gstreamer1-1.24.4-1 was rolled out by the Fedora Team and everything works fine now on my good old Lenovo M58 🙂
So you were right: the error was in gstreamer and not in Strawberry!

Not sure, I've since moved away from using cuesheets (they make a number of other things inconvenient as well), and I did not ever notice anything like this when cuesheets aren't involved

It turns out that this may not be a problem with Strawberry at all, instead it is the result of me forgetting to renew my qobuz subscription lol

@Sharky-PI Actually, I just found a work-around for this! If you put quotes around the album name in the search bar, it will treat the dash as a literal dash and not as an exclude symbol.

I sometimes have a similar issue when I change the album art on a file that's currently playing.

Re: 2, the only think I can think of is maybe a couple of the songs are in a format Strawberry doesn't recognize or use file extensions it doesn't recognize? If it's the second one, it may be as simple as changing the end of the file name from .mpga to .mp3 or something like that. What format are the files in?

After re-configuring the my disk drives several times i have found that if the strawberry collection is not in the path ~/Music strawberry will requires rebuilding the collection, regardless of disk type (i.e. sdd, or hdd) ... since i have an SDD partition dedicated to my music library i just mount is at ~/Music/my_music and it seem to work

Depends on the version you use and what providers you have enabled in the settings. Genius requires a login.
If you use an older release than 1.0.19, most of the providers no longer works, at least of the good ones.
Many of the lyrics providers are broken in the 1.0.23 release, at least azlyrics, musixmatch and lyricsmode.com are no longer working. azlyrics and musixmatch have been fixed and lyricsmode.com is removed. But I have not relased a new version with these fixes.
There are no providers with a good API available for open source software, so we mostly rely on scraping HTML pages, which will break once they change their layout of the website, or just different methods to try and stop automatic use of the lyrics.
